HELP LABTA FIGHT HUNGER IN OUR COMMUNITY
Los Angeles Regional Foodbank
![]() | Please support the LABTA FOOD DRIVE November 10, 2010 | ![]() |
One in seven local residents now faces hunger with the impact of hunger hitting children and seniors the hardest.
This is a great chance to make a difference in our community. LABTA encourage you to join us in our efforts to
help our less fortunate neighbors.
The food and funds we raise will help the Foodbank supply food to over 550 charitable agencies with more than 900 sites that
provide food for low-income children, families, senior citizens and individuals in need throughout Los Angeles County.
Your help is vitally important!
- Bring nonperishable food items to *LABTA's November 10th* monthly meeting held at the Toyota Museum, Torrance, CA
- Non-perishable, non-expired, goods and unopened personal care items are in greatest need:
- canned meats, vegetables, fruits, tuna
- peanut butter
- cereal
- juices
- toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, cologne
Please consider making a *DONATION* and help LABTA fight hunger in our community (including asking your company, colleagues, friends & family). Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Egencia have stepped up with a generous contribution of $1,000 each, and we are asking everyone to help us exceed this year's goal of $5,000 which will provide 20,000 meals to those in greatest need. Please spread the word!
