Heal the Bay Coastal Cleanup Day
Saturday, July 17th
MEETING INFO: 9:00-9:45 AM Starbucks Venice at Main & Navy; coffee and snacks courtesy of LABTA
EVENT INFO: 10:00 AM - Noon at end of Rose Ave on the beach
Consider this:
- Trips to the Beach are one of the most popular travel activities. One in ten trips (10%) includes going to a beach!
- LA sees 25M visitors annually spending approximately $15B in our economy
- These visitors help create over 500,000 travel-related jobs throughout greater Los Angeles metro area
Conclusion: clean LA beaches helps support our industry, our economy, our community and our marine habitat
Join Team LABTA from 10AM – Noon at Venice Beach Saturday, July 17th for Heal the Bay’s "Nothin' But Sand" (NBS) cleanup.
NBS are hands-on opportunities for volunteers to directly improve the condition of Santa Monica Bay beaches while enjoying
the great outdoors.
