Congratulations 2010 LA Foodbank Volunteers!
Los Angeles Regional Foodbank

Your efforts made our 10/23 food assembly event a huge success. Together, we assembled an amazing amount of food for fellow Angelinos in need...specifically women, children and the elderly.
Our team accomplished the following:
- Assembled 690 bins containing 1,380 bags of food items
- 20,700 lbs of food handled in the assembly process
- Net result = 19,320 meals for those in need
Interested in getting involved? You, colleagues, friends, and family can help LABTA make a difference:
- Bring non-perishable food and personal care items to the LABTA's November monthly meeting.
- Help us reach our Virtual Food Drive (fundraising) goal of $5,000 or 20,000 meals (Foodbank can produce 4 meals for every $1 raised)
- Bid on silent and live auction times at LABTA's Holiday Gala, portion of proceeds will be donated to LA Foodbank and LABTA will match up to $2,500 in funds raised.
