Los Angeles Regional Foodbank
Saturday, March 26, 2011: 8:45 am to 12:00 pm
Consider this:
- There are an estimated 75,000+ homeless in LA
- There are an estimated 1,000,000+ at risk of hunger in LA, many of them children and the elderly
- For every 1 dollar donated, the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is able to provide 5 meals to men, women & children in need of a meal
- Last year, the LABTA and its members raised approximately $5,000 which equates to 25,000 meals
LABTA is proud to continue its support of the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank in 2011
A link to sign-up for the volunteer event at LA Foodbank’s distribution center will be posted in the near future.
