LABTA CSR’s Scholarship Program to Attend NBTA’s Houston Convention

LABTA is pleased to announce that we will be offering scholarships to two individuals to attend the NBTA
convention in Houston this August – value of $2,500 per scholarship. Interested participants should meet
these following criteria:
- LABTA member in good standing
- Can be either Direct or Allied member
HOW TO APPLY:
Email letter to the LABTA Board including outlining:
- a) why you would like to attend and what you hope to achieve/learn by attending
- b) election of participation in at least one CSR’s community volunteer events
(Revlon Walk, Heal the Bay, LA Foodbank – see CSR Calendar of Events listed at LABTA homepage)
The scholarship will include the following:
- Cost of air transportation to/from Houston
- Cost of hotel accommodations Sunday through Thursday (does not include room incidentals or meals)
- Cost of NBTA convention registration
