Gail Sherman, Moderator

Gail Sherman joined American Express Global Business Travel as a Director of Business Development in 2013. Working with large multinational global companies on the West Coast, she has been successful in helping them transform their travel programs to meet today´┐½s diverse needs.

Gail also serves on the Board of the LABTA as Program Chair. Prior to GBT, Gail spent 15 years at Automatic Data Processing selling robust Human Capital Management service/technology outsourcing solutions. Gail earned a BA and an MBA from UCLA.






Marwan Batrouni
Consultant, Advito/BCD

As senior director and practice area leader, Marwan Batrouni leads business growth and continuous improvement efforts for Advito´┐½s global hotel practice. He brings more than 15 years of travel industry experience with a focus on strategy, customer experience and vendor relationships to his role.

Marwan's career includes key positions on both the supplier and travel consulting sides of the hotel industry. Prior to joining Advito, he served in delivery and product management roles with American Express Advisory Services, most recently as consulting director. Previously, he spent five years with Wyndham International in hotel sales with responsibility for corporate transient, group and government-related business.

Marwan received a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Arts in Management of Tourism from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.



Lynnora Ruth
Corporate Travel Manager, N. America, Harman International

Lynnora Ruth is the Corporate Travel Manager, N. America and the Global T&E Administrator for Harman International Industries Inc. She has been in the travel industry for over 30 years; starting her career with American Airlines and Sabre, and this year she will celebrate her 11th year at Harman.

Lynnora holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business & Information Systems/e-Business from the University of Phoenix (Pasadena, CA campus) and has held various Board positions with the Los Angeles Business Travel Assoc., including Director of Membership and Web Administrator. She is a recipient of the CCTE (Certified Corporate Travel Executive) and has received awards from GetThere, Chrome River and IBM.



TJ Blue
Consultant, IBM

T.J. is a senior category manager for the travel and fleet categories supporting IBM´┐½s procurement consulting and outsourcing clients globally. Mr. Blue has extensive experience sourcing and leading innovative transformation initiatives for a broad range of industries and clients in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining IBM, T.J. held executive leadership positions with major global car rental companies.

T.J. brings extensive experience in all aspects of strategic sourcing, supplier management, complex analytics, technology applications, negotiations, contracting, implementations, and process optimization.

T.J. graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in sales and management. He is an active member of the Global Business Travel Association and Association of Corporate Travel Executives and regularly serves as panelist and session moderator at key GBTA and ACTE conferences.
