Speaker's bio(s):

Stephanie Sampson
Director of Communication - LAX

Stephanie is the Director of Communications for the LAX Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), overseeing all aspects of external communications and community outreach for the $5.5 billion project. In this role, Stephanie manages the communication efforts for consultants and contractors for the various projects, as well as works closely with the LAX External Affairs Division to ensure stakeholders and community members receive updates on developments and impacts for the LAMP project.

Prior to joining LAX, Stephanie worked in sports communications. She earned her Master's Degree in Sport Management and her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Cal State Long Beach.

Becca Doten
Managing Director, Media Relations - Los Angeles World Airports

Becca Doten serves as the Managing Director of Media Relations for Los Angeles World Airports, overseeing internal and external communications for LAX. In this role, she leads strategic communications planning, media/press relations, digital and social media efforts and marketing. Ms. Doten joined LAWA in July of 2017 and brings with her more than a decade of experience in communications and public policy at the city, county and state level.

Previous to LAWA, Becca supervised the Los Angeles office of the State Controller, serving as the Assistant Deputy Controller and statewide Director of External Affairs. Becca also managed the winning campaign for Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell in 2014. Previous to that, she spent seven years working for the City of Los Angeles, serving as the Chief of Staff and Director of Communications for a Los Angeles City Councilmember and as the Director of the Mayor's Crisis Response Team.

Originally from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Becca earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production from the University of Southern California. She is a sworn Reserve Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.
