911 banner 2011

September 11, 2011 marked the tenth year since the brutal attack on the United States and our beloved travel industry. In the months and years following the attacks, thousands of our industry colleagues lost their jobs as air passenger counts sank to their lowest points. Aviation is one of the most vital industries in the world today, providing economic growth and jobs whereever the avaition arm is extended. The key to prevention of further attacks is to stay alert and aware of your surroundings and standing up to terrorists who attempt to bully their way into our society by exploiting our freedom to travel. As we have all reflected on that tragic day in 2001, let's not forget that in the twenty-first century, the rules have changed and we must be able to change with them.
