Mission
To support LABTA’s business and educational objectives by applying community service resources in a way that enhances our association’s reputation with our Direct and Allied membership, our potential members, our business partners, city, state and federal agencies, and other BTA’s.
To support our Association’s commitment to give back and support the communities in which we live and do business.
Objectives
Plan, produce, and support projects that encourage education in the areas of travel, diversity and cultural exchanges.
Participate in projects where our key BTA partners and members are involved in community and philanthropic giving.
Assist targeted public schools in their desire to provide curriculum studies in the areas of geography, social studies, and cultural diversity by supplementing their programs with educational activities that are interesting and fun. Engage the LABTA membership and the companies they represent in utilizing their skills, product knowledge and past experiences in travel.
To participate in career day programs that focus on future jobs in the area of travel.
